I bought this for my 7 yr old son who absolutely loves Pokemon. I thought he'd ejoy it and I must've been right. He finished it in a day. Actually in probably less than an hour. I dont know if it's because it was so good & he couldn't put it down or if it was just too easy for him. He read it so quickly I think I'll save my $$ next time & just take him to the library. So I guess I recommend the book but if your kid is anything like mine you might do better just borrowing the book.
