Rating: - Great cables but not new as stated
Speaking on order from "wholesalecables". Cables were just twist tied in the shipping box. Were in decent condition but looked as if they been used slightly. Are official cables but no box. Worked perfect for me so I ain't complaining. If you can't do component cables then this is the next best for picture quality.

The cable works fine. It is better than the composite cable the unit comes with. I was replacing another svideo I gave to my friend, but I am happy with the cable.

Wish I would have purchased this when I first bought my PS2. It greatly increased the quality of the video over a composite signal. Well worth buying!

The cable I received wasn't from Sony, nevertheless, I can confirm that the cables indeed make the colors noticeably sharper. Just some things to say: if you're used to plugging in your console in front of the TV, the S-video port usually isn't there. So you may need an extension cable if you have a good sized TV and don't want to sit too close.
Anyways, a worth-it buy if you're an avid ps2 gamer.

S-Video cable makes graphics significantly SHARPER and better than regular stock AV cables. About 5 to 10 times sharper IMO.
This cable is way too rip. Get the ten dollars Pelican S-Video cable instead; it performs great like Sony.
