the item never showed up at my house. they refunded my money only after I complained. not a good buy.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Don't buy a Nintendo
We all know that the NES is the best thing ever for gamers. DON'T BUY A CLASSIC NES. Buy a brand new Nintendo/Super Nindendo mix console. It's about a third of the size, it's brand new, it's sleeker, and you don't have to screw around with damn nintendo cartridges to get it to work, it uses the solor cords rather than that stupid box thing, it's a third of the wires running across your floor for the dogs to chew,it costs half the money, and you get much better color on NES games than with the actual NES. I could go on and on about why the 2 in 1 consoles are better. THE ONLY SINGLE DRAWBACK IS THAT THE CARTRIDGES ARE HARDER THAN HECK TO PULL OUT. Once you get the techniqe down it gets easier though. I promise you this reveiw is 100% real I'm a 12-year old kid using my mom's name I'm not advertising the mix consoles are really THAT much better.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The little gray box that saved console gaming
With tons of fun, high quality games, this little box single-handedly saved console gaming after the overload and decline of the Atari. So many classics were born on this system that any collector should own one.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - 80's flashback
I remember being around 6 or 7 when this was released and begging my mom for one. My sister helped too back then when she was still into video games like me. This bring backs memories of me calling my sister and her friend Nintendo hogs because they wouldn't give me a turn. I gave mine away once the SNES (Super Nintendo) was in my hands and I have regretted that decision for quite a while now. I am planning on buying one of these and a few of the games I used to have and enjoy. I knew Amazon would have one because they seem to have a lot of the things I gave away and want again.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - I love this thing
I had this when it first came out.My brother sister and I went through a nintendo stage.Which slowly faded into a computer game stage,so naturally the nintendo was kept in our basement for the next 10 years believe it or not.Until one day I was talking with my friends from highschool and thought it would be fun to pull it out again. So we tried to hook it up on the newer tv in the computer room. And at first we couldnt get it to work. Then we took it into the living room and got it to work on the older tv.I was thrilled!Months later my friend was able to hook it up on the newer tv in the computer room for my bday party.Let me tell you that was the best bday present I got that year, just playing the classic games like duck hunt and little mermaid. We had a blast and it still worked great!
