Amazon.com Product Description:
The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind is an epic, open-ended single-player game where you create and play any kind of character you can imagine. Be the hero embarking on an epic quest or a thief rising to leadership of his guild. Be a sorcerer developing the ultimate spell of destruction or a healer searching for the cure to a plague. Your actions define your character, and your gameplay changes and evolves in response to your actions. The Collector's Edition comes in an exclusive black box and includes a Morrowind soundtrack CD, an Ordinator figurine by Rawcliffe, and a 48-page book called The Art of Morrowind.

Players can choose to follow the intriguing main story line or set off to explore the province of Morrowind and the many interesting people and exotic locations it contains. Vast cities and remote villages dot the landscape, each with its own unique look and feel. Hundreds of quests and adventures await as you interact with characters and learn more. Regardless of whether you play a murdering assassin or a noble knight, the game holds endless possibilities and allows you to revisit the main story line at any time.

With Morrowind, the Elder Scrolls character system is coupled with an increase in the world's richness of detail. Utilizing the advanced 3-D technology, Morrowind features hyperrealistic textures and polygon counts, real-time shadows, vast landscapes, skeletal-based animation, and a complete weather system. Gameplay is further extended with the inclusion of The Elder Scrolls Construction Set, which allows players to modify and add to Morrowind in any way they see fit. Change character or creature attributes and skills, introduce new weapons or dungeons into the game, or create entire new worlds to explore.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Morrowind Reveiw
Morrowind is and amazing game with jaw dropping graphix, it is set on the vast island of Vvraddenfal wich consists of literally HUNDREDS of towns, Smugglers caves, Dungons, NPC's and Monsters. The NPC A.I is not paticually good, and lets the game down a little, it is fustrating walking around town and being told "hurry up, i am a busy person" or "of course id be happy to awnser your questions." by everyone. The most enjoyable feature of the game is the huge interactivity it has, the fact that you can customise every aspect of your character is good, making a fierce Nordic warrior, a stealthy dark elf thief, a powerful breton mage ect... Another exelent feature is the power to make your own spells, potions and enchanted items, (((i recently made "The Ultimate Fireball Of Frost" spell))) All Serious gamers should buy this game, however, only play if you are planning on spending a long time on it, the "Go where you want, when you want and do what you want" style of the game, as well as a main storyline quest, makes many hours of gameplay.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The Best RPG on earth
I have been a loyal fan of Morrowing since it came out on xbox and I have to say I've at least put in about 48 hours of gamepleay in to this game. I would recommend this game to anyone who loves RPG's or wants to get in them. When I first played morrowind I thought to myself where's the main quest you know where's the action and drama that other games offer. well not this game when you first start out in Seyda Neen you get a little hint and a nudge of what you mission is and you don't basically have to start from there. You can do whatever you want in Morrowind you can be a Theif to an asassin to knight trust me there are more classes. But in all I would have to say Morrowind is the best RPG on earth why? Because you can LITERALLY do whatever you want. Buy this game for XBOX or P.C it will be worth every dollar you spend. And becareful the land of Vvardenfell can be very dangerous and this game is HIGHLY ADDICTING once you start you won't wanna stop.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Best single player RPG you can buy!
This is a truely awesome game that has endless hours of playability. People are still making scores of plugin mods for the PC version that add new quests, houses, furniture, armor and just about anything you can think of to add with the Morrowind editor. This game is definately a must buy for any serious RPG lover. Oh Yeah... and the Graphics are simply stunning... =)

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - My Game
I can't give this game five stars. Then again, I couldn't really give any game five stars.

It isn't as freeform as I would like. Then again, my standards are too high. I want perfection. Its very liberating, you can pursue many different paths, or none at all. The world of the Elder Scrolls is very detailed, immense, and realistic, and your sample of it in Morrowind, the island of Vvardenfell, has been carefully crafted. If I remember right, there are +2600 non-playable characters in the game, all unique and created by hand, not ramdomly generated. Each has his or her own loyalties, ambitions, personalities, etc.

The audio is great. Sound effects, voices, backround, but the music should be more rustic, I think. Not to say the music isn't great, but there should be a more aboriginal quality to it, not so cosmopolitan.

Graphics are decent on a decent PC. On mine, if I stretch it and sacrifice performance, which I do occasionally, the world is beautiful. The natural world of Nirn, the trees, the flowers, even the ashpits, then on to the architecture of the Redoran settlements, the Telvanni towers, the Hlaalu towns, to the desert Ashlands, this truly is a world. From the bustling walkways of the immence city of Vivec, to the quiet swamps of the Bitter Coast, this is its own world. Vvardenfell. Morrowind. Tamriel. Mundus.

Morrowind.

So for your [money], if you have a high-end powerful computer, this is your choice. Really. I am just warning you, without the latest morrowind update and a beefed up high-end powerful computer with the power of the Intel Pentium 4 processor with Windows XP and at least 512 megabytes of RAM plus a GeForce or Radeon series graphics card with a Sound Blaster series graphics card with a strong fast hard drive and more, your experience in morrowind won't be so special....

So take my advice and buy the game for yourself, RPG lovers.

This is a true RPG masterpiece.
