It also has seven different arenas to play in:
1. FACTOY PLATFORMS
In this arena, there are multiple floating platforms to jump and fight on, but if you fall off and another platform isn't below it, you lose some life. It the upper two corners there are two teleporters. You run in through one teleporter, and you run out through the other, so that you are on the opposite side of the arena. Be warned: when you hear beeping, get up onthe top platform, because if you don't, the platforms will slide you, and some boxes, off into the bottom platform, which has now opened and appears to be a waste burner. Needless to say, if you fall into it, you lose some more life.
2. WATERFALL
This arena is a waterfall with trees to climb up on. Do not jump off the waterfall, or you'll lose some life. Also, frombehind the waterfal come boulders which knock you off the waterfall, losing life. Avoid those.
3. ROTATING...SQUARE?
You are in a square shaped area, and there are multiple platforms to stand on. The only background danger is that every few minutes the square movie sideways or upside down, sending you falling to the new bottom of the arena.
4. PLATFORMS IN THE SKY
This is qite possibly the most dangerous arena of all. Not only will you fight an oppenant Digimon, but you'll also have to stay on the platforms at all times, or else you'l fall thousands of feet to the ground, losing life. Also, this sky arena has thunder and lightning. When the clouds and sky begin to turn grey, get away the grey tiki head thing in the middle, as well as the constantly moving gray boxes. Those are the areas most often hit by lightning.
5. ICEBERG
Three icebergs, each (except the bottom one of course) above another. The ice isslippery, and it is easy to slide into the freezing water and lose life. Also, occasionally, the ends of the midle iceberg will drop into the ocean.
6. VOLCANO
You fight and attack on platforms of cooled lava, and try to avoid falling into the hot lava in between platforms. Pushing your oppenent into the lava, however, is a good technique to use in this arena.
7. VIRTUAL REALITY
I just call it that because it ha all of these neat lights and patterns changing in the background. Also, the purple strings with one eye in the background look like the Kuramon from the TV Movie "Digimon Zero Two: Revenge of Diaboromon." There isn't any danger in this arena, no platforms or obstacles. It is just pure rumble, you and your opponent. Inthe 1-player mode, this arena is where you fight the boss of the game: Reapermon. Defeat him, and you will be able to unlock this arena fr Vs. Compter mode. (this is the only locked arena).

By pressing R1 when picking some of the Digimon, their Tamers appear differently.
AGUMON/wARGREYMOn (R1) Tai appears in his seasn one outfit, rather than his season two outfit.
GABUMON/METALGARURUMON (R1) Matt appears in season 1 outfit, not season 2 outfit
PATAMON/SERAPHIMOn (R1) T.K> is in s1 outfit not s2 outfit
GATOMON/MAGNADRAMON (R1) Kari is in s1 outfit, not s2 outfit.

Plus:
It may seem like you can't battle the same Digimon you play as (x: mnimon vs Omnimon) but you can, by pressing the select button when choosing your opponent. Your oppenent will be miscolored so that you can tell which Digimon YOU are rumbling with.

This game is fun to play, an instant classic in fighting games. I extremely recommend playing with Stingmon, he's got great speed and agility. Anyway, this game is a treat for Digimon fans and Non-Digimon-Fans alike.
Rating: - one of the best fighting games yet
I love this game and I think it's one of the best digimon games I've played. It has alot of my favorite digimon, like Wargreymon, Metalgarurumon, Omnimon, Seraphimon, Magnadramon and Renamon. This game showed me new digimon like Reapermon and Impearialdramon palidin mode. I also love the mini-games that apeared in this game. The graghics are great too, especially in the digimon themselves. I loved the moves that they gave the digimon. I recomend this game to every one that likes digimon and any other fighting games.
Rating: - It's Okay
Digimon Rumble Arena is a decent game for Digimon fans. I'd recommend it toward people who are Digimon fans because in other words it might not be a good game. The choices of which Digimon you can fight with are exceptional. There are the six secret Digimon Omnimon, Beelzemon Blast Mode, Impmon, Imperialdramon Paladin Mode, Reapermon, and BlackWarGreymon. I found the easiest rookie to fight with as Renamon who is probably the fasest rookie and her Diamond Storm is good for getting combos. Now the game overall is good but the arenas get slightly dull after a while and if you are used to the PS2 then the graphics are kinda off. The voices are done poorly but they are the same as the anime save for Takato (who sounds like Ash in Pokemon) Fighting the PS will get dull but if you have two controls and a sibling who's willing to play, it's a great game. That is if that sibling's a good player. OVerall, it's a decent and likable game though you can finish it in about one hour unless you are a very poor player.
