Rating: - One of the Best Games Ever!
I have dozens of GameCube games and this is just about my all time favorite. First of all the graphic (Lands) are fantastic. It is a nice long game with Many levels. Game play is smooth with plenty of weapons options. Bilbo is a little guy, but it doesn't make any difference to his abilities. I played this game all the way through with no help from cheats. It is very challenging. I recommend an ActionReply cheats disc though. It's great having unlimited lives.
There are many treasure chests throughout the levels. But they require lock picking to open. If you do it wrong you can be killed.
This was my least favorite part of the game. But can be over come with ActionReplay. In the lands you start in Hobbiton. This level, for anyone who loves the book, is especially nice. You even go in the Hobbit Hole. As the game progresses you go through
Caves and Mines, Climb to the tops of Mountains, Go to Lake Town,
Smog the Dragon's Lair and Much more. This is a great Action Platformer that touches on Role Playing.
Rating: - Wow Wasnt Expecting That!!!
Best action adventure game ever! You play as the Hobbit Bilbo Baggins and go through 11 highly graphic and long levels. You solve puzzles, battle enemies like goblins, spiders, and trolls.
Tolkien would be suprised at this incredible game. The levels are not too hard nor easy and follows the book almost exactly!
I would say much more about the game but I dont wanna spoil the secrets. If your looking for a game with action and adventure this is it!
Rating: - Very satisfying
Unlike Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers this game actually makes you think. In other words it's not just a button mashing game to get from level to level. Excellent game play. Just the right mix of combat, puzzle-solving and exploring. Great graphics and decent voice acting and nicely follows the book though it does take some liberties. Also I loved the music: very much fits the theme of the game.
Overall a wonderful purchase. The only RPG for the Cube that was better was Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
Rating: - Great Role Play Game!!
This game is Great!! I bought it on sale not expecting much, but was pleasently surprised. It is not to easy and not to hard.It has lots of hidden items so after you beat it you can go back and try to get them all.It has cute characters and is lots of fun!!It does have some long cut scenes but has wounderful graphics.I reccomend this game to any person who likes role play games.5 stars in my book~
Rating: - An Awesome game
This game is played, sort of as a zelda game, but it's a little less free-range as it is played through with Chapters. It's a very good game, definitely worth the buy, but some of the Chapters can be very, very long, particularly "Over Hill and Under Hill". but I'd say it's worth the buy
