fast ship and a great product so much you can do with beyond great movies and music

It appears that this multi-media device was worth buying when I did. The only problems with it is that
1. It's homebrew compatibility isn't that good.
2. The video will get out of sync or not have sound at all in bid files
But other than that, it's decent. But not recommended.
Rating: - Get an M3 DS Real Instead
Hard drives are slow. And hard to upgrade, impossible in this case. Flash media is a much faster, much more upgradeable alternative (when using flash cards such as MicroSD).
This one limits you with the hard drive because you cannot upgrade it. Also, it cannot run NintendoDS and GameBoy Advance back-up ROMs or homebrew applications.
The M3 DS Real can play movies and music, almost any music file you can think of (AAC, MP3, WAV, OOG, AIFF, and several others) . Supports MicroSD cards, so you can always upgrade to more space and still even have the old card (start out with 4GB then buy another 4GB, that's 8GB. for example) It can be upgraded to have PDA functions. The Firmware is upgradeable. It can store NintendoDS and GameBoy Advance backup files and run them.
Also, the M3 Real is only $40 to $60. Not $150. Much better value. Also, the M3 Real is much more popular, so it has a much wider support base on webforums and the like.
Rating: - novel idea...but...
It's a generally ok, the format of the whole thing needs to be changed, it's no user friendly at all...sort of has an old pc kind of feel to it...honestly would recommend waiting for this type of product for something better to come along. The seller is awesome, very speedy delivery.

I bought it a long time ago.. but here is some advice take out the HDD and replace it with a Compact Flash. when you do that.. install moonshell.. and you will have an ok experience.
