Compared to the movie this game is a huge foot about to step on a small ant. This gameplay is too cool! Finding Uncle Ben's Killer, Fightning Scorpion and the Vulture, and a whole lot of other stuff. Of course multiple ariel dules with Goblin. Web controls are sweet! Tie-ups, domes, impact shots, ziplines, yo-yo's, web bombs and more! The combos are cool! Handspring kicks and triple palm punches. Web swinging is tricky at first but once u get it down, it's on! You get all uniforms like spidey's uniform, Peter Parker and 2 other awesome uni's! This takes the cake for movie games! You must have it at all costs!

If you've ever wanted to crawl walls,websling and avenge your Uncle's murder, this is definiteley the game for you.
The game start's out with an intro into the life of spidey,starting with Uncle Ben's murder and moving up from there.You advance through the game fighting many super-villains that weren't featured in the game (mostly Shocker,Vulture and Scorpion) and, of course,The Green Goblin and that pesky goblin glider.
I purchased this game on May 4, which goes to show for the endless replay value. Even after you beat the levels,there's still the Art Gallery and The Specials Menu, where you can input codes and turn the Green Goblin play mode on and off (asuming you beat the game on hero difficulty,that is).
This game has one of the best concepts I've seen on a video game yet,and it's one that keeps you coming back day after day.
This is as good as video games get. If you don't have it, buy it!

I thought this game lived up to expectations. everybody thought it be just like the movie, and it was. There was alot of action, but not a whole lot of plot to up the storyline. Personally I hated the movie. I thought it stunk on ice, but that is only my opinion. Some of the villians in this game were not part of the movie(shocker and vulture) but there is a long battle sequence with the green goblin. I was suprised that the fighting match that spider-man did in the movie was only a mini game their should have been a part in game about it like at the begining but it skipped that part and went straight to the killer as the first boss.
The battles themself were good and the control over spider-man is incredible! There are a bunch of moves like ziplining(Moving very fast using the web) you can shoot webs at villians and there are many more but if you get this game you will find out about them all. The grafics on this game are some of the best I have ever seen. The people that created this game really took atvantage of the gamecube's potential. Over all this game is pretty short about 5 hours(give or take). If you are a fan of spider-man I would recomend buying this game, but if you are looking for an exellent gamecube game rent then buy.

I have long since been a spiderman fan..I have several comics, and a few games, and I really have fun playing this..I loved the movie and it is my favorite..So I got this game. This game even has more in it than the movie such as extra bad guys like: shocker, vulture & scorpion. Excellent gameplay, and I even have no clue when the game ends! It seems like there is a never ending amount of levels! Which is a great feature!
The game starts out when Peter is looking for his uncle Ben's killer. And after he catches him he goes onto different storylines with shocker, then vulture and trying to save MJ (Mary-Jane). It is truly a great game and I do hope you enjoy it...Thankyou for reading...

If you need advice on renting it and buying it, I say rent it. The first time you play, it's cool, but once you reach level 5 or so, it gets dull. It's kind of short, but has long levels. I'm giving it a 4 because it's action-packed.(the first time) Codes are pretty easy to guess. And the Green Goblin really is- wait... I'm not gonna tell you. Play the game to find out!
