I got this game for Christmas of 03' and put it in the GC and was very dissapointed.To make a long story short,the first 10 minutes of the game is utterly boring,but get past that this game is a masterpiece! Everything you liked about the gameplay of Zelda for the N64, Except with Starfox characters. I recommend the players guide for this game,as it gets confusing on some parts. I was not a huge fan of this genre of games but this game changed my mind!

This should have been a Zelda game. Really. Although, it is better than Wind Waker. At least it's not so very... cute. The hand to hand combat is a bit iffy, but at least you don't play as a midget Link! (No offense to all you midgets out there, though) The story is overly complicated, taking what could have neat and making it complicated. Everything gets explained (...Well, mostly) at the end. The girl Krystal (you know, that hot, blue fox on the front of the case) is searching for the "truth about her parents' death's". Well, SHE FINDS OUT DIDDLY-SQUAT! Her only purpose, it seems is to be the damsel in distress. Any~way, the way it works is you search the planet to find a wrp to one of the areas in orbit around the planet. (The planet was ripped apart by General Scales, the villan with the cheesiest name in history) After you find a warp you fly there, find a "Spellstone" and then take it back to the planet. (Rinse and repeat three more times) Oh, yeah. You also have to save Krystal by finding all of these "Krazoa Spirits". She is trapped in... Get this! A giant crystal. The game is over pretty quickly. Oh, and you have your annoying helper Tricky, a young triceratops prince. Mmm-hmm. The ending is really corny, and basicly the only time Krystal speaks English. (Wait till you hear her speaking in "Dinosaur Language"!) Anyway, it has many flaws, but amazing graphics. Rent it before you buy it. Oh, and DO NOT TRY IT IF YOU DON'T LIKE ADVENTURE GAMES! Fox is at it again, except this time he's passin' up his Arwing for a magic staff.
Star Fox Adventures has nice graphics, and well done dialogs. The combat is good and allows the player to use 4 different combos that, I have to admit, look pretty cool. Star Fox, however, lacks what other GC adventure titles have.
As you play through Star Fox, you'll realize there is absolutely no "X" factor. Everything in this game has been done before. The game simply lacks any and all inovation. Even some boss fights get boring. Boss starts to charge, knock it down, throw a bomb at it, repeat. IT HAS NO "X" FACTOR.
Even the plot is tired. Hero starts solely for money. Hero finds girl. Hero decides to fight for girl instead of just for money. Hero saves girl. End. Where's the creativity?
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker has sailing, the deku leaf, islands, the cell shading, and one of the coolest final boss slayings I've ever seen. Beyond Good and Evil has photos, the hover craft, an ingenious plot, and conspiracy. Star Fox Adventures has Fox McCloud on foot.
3 stars = A decent adventure game. Nice graphics, good combat, good dialog. Lacks the "it" that makes GC adventure games so great. For the $10 - $15 dollars for a pre-used game I'd say go for it, but don't expect a break-through masterpiece.

Kids who have felt hurt from anything, anything, and who know punching someone is wrong or any other mean of violence, too, can play this game. You or/and child will like the battle system, the humor of Fox blaring rock music, and racing Dinos.

This is the greatest game I've ever played. I would give it 100 stars but 5 is the maximum. The price is a great deal. The graphics are superb, the controls are great, and the marcial- arts moves Fox premorms are fabulous. This game has a great plot and plenty of evil villians. It's a puzzling game but has plenty of action. I love this game and you'll love it too!!!!!
