Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - YA BABY! One Heck of a Game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is most likely one of my all time favs for Gamecube. It has cutting edge graphics, awesome music, way cool moves and wicked bosses. Get this game even if you're not a fan of the Star Fox series. Be prepared for a perfect blend of game elements. There is a bit of sugestive theming at a few points, so I wouldn't sugest it to little kids. Also, the hard core battles can get a bit intense and a little gross at times, so don't give this to a 7-year old. It doesn't really have much blood, so it's not limited to Teenagers. I myself am 10, going on 11, and I found this game COOL! If you're not afraid of hard bosses, which the final boss took me 2 days, buy this perfect battle game.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Unfortunately my tastes have changed
Star Fox Adventures was Rareware's only Gamecube game before jumping to X-Box. It's very similiar to Zelda, and originally started as an N64 title before jumping to the cube and being rebranded with the Star Fox characters.

My thoughts on the game are this: A few years ago, this game would've been right up my alley. I've played Mario 64, Banjo-Kazooie, and Donkey Kong 64, titles which focus more on the gameplay than any plot. It's about the joy of completing the actual challenge itself, and not the cutscene that takes place afterwards. Star Fox Adventures is very much like this. Each world is full of multiple tasks, where you have to complete puzzles or collect items so characters can advance. It's a little more story-oriented and linear, but basically the same thing.

However, my tastes have changed. As an older gamer I prefer more plot to my games now, with intricate stories I can sink my teeth into. There's more story here than in most games featuring Nintendo mascots, but besides some small plot twists its still very general. The game's prime focus is on exploration and discovery for their own sake. If you like that, there's a lot to love here. Vast beautiful worlds and characters await you, and Rare has added some very nice fur effects that are wonderful. Still one of the prettiest Gamecube titles around.

So there's a lot of game here, a long, meaty adventure that'll last you quite awhile. Younger gamers should eat it up. But if you prefer a strong plot with lots of drama, you might want to try a rental first.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - I really like this game :)
Hey this game is real fun also ' i dont understand why some people hate it ' i think its a real nice game the graphics are real okay and the music fits in well to where youre at on dinosaur planet but their are some annoying stuff on it but to be honest the puzzles werent annyoying to me ' they brought skills and challange which brings a good excerise to fox XD

Good

Very good music
Hilarious talk from characters (Like the Thorntail Shop Owner)
Fun Puzzles

Bad

Test Skills (Lightfoot Tribe Krooza Spirit)

Sharp Claw Racing (I suck at racing them so i had to have my cousin race them for me)

I cant say on this last one but be sure not to save when youre at the final boss or you ll be sorry that is if you missed some stuff like cheat tokens =/

Overall the game is fun and in my opinion the graphics looked better then starfox assaults graphics

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - 4 and 1/2 stars
Starfox Adventures is a great game, though not without its faults. Dinosaur Planet is being taken over by the evil General Scales. It's up to the Starfox Team to get him out of there!! So the great Fox McCloud sets off to accomplish just that. Along the way, you will interact with interesting characters and the plot takes a few twists and turns. Gameplay consists of finding items-do this, pull that, kill him, etc, etc. Some of the puzzles can get pretty arduous, however, so I reccomend buying the strategy guide. The game goes above and beyond in terms of length, clocking in at about 30 hours for the average gamer. To top it all off, Rare went above and beyond and made the graphics B-E-A-Utiful!!Buy!!

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Starfox SUCKS!
Starfox 64 was great. But now they have gone to this "Use your crappy magic staff" formula. And guess what? It was a BAD idea! What happened to getting in your ship and blasting the hell out of everything in sight!?!? You use magic powers in some dino-land, with crappy magic going on! Fox uses blaster rifles, and the arwing! Not magic staffs and ancient dinosaurs! This is a very very very boring game! Fox, whats up with the magic staffs??? THis is like taking away Arnold Swartzenegger's AK-47 and giving him a lollipop! DO NO BUY.
