Okay,when I bought a GameCube,it came with a Memory Card 59.After I got a few more games,I ran out of space,so I had to delete my hard-earned game files.Right now,I have twelve games,and I bought a Memory Card 251,and put my old 59 to rest.
Plus, this card is made by Nintendo! Most high-capacity memory cards are made by cheap third-party companies, and they could wreck your GameCube.
This card is very durable. It went through the wash THREE times and went through the dryer THREE times, and I still have my files!!!
You espesially need this for sprots games, because they all need large amounts of space.
Kudos to Nintendo for making such a high-quality memory card!

If you play the game Cube a lot chances are you'll have many saved games. With 251 blocks the Game Cube 251 Memory Card has four times the storage of the smaller Memory Card 59. The 251 card is ideal for most game cube gamers. Most games now use about 5 to 10 blocks for the save games. There are a few games that can use over 50 Blocks that will just about fill out the smaller card. The only reason that I use a smaller card would be to dedicate it to one game like Animal Crossing that has huge save files 57 blocks.

I've see alot of reviews for the new consoles about people compaining that they didn't realize you need a memory card, well you do, so you might as well buy this one, since it's the best one out there.
It hold 251 blocks, hence the name, which means that it will hold almost all of your games. The games i play use only a few blocks, so this means I can fit everything else on one card. Plus this is only about 5 bucks more than the original card and holds 5 times as much.
There are several non-Nintendo made cards available that hold more, I think the most is over 1000 blocks. However many of those cards are unreliable and have corrupted many people's data. When you play games that take 50+ hours, your data is very importaint. If you are going to risk your data with a 3rd party card, go with MadCatz. But I would stick with this one; I have never known anyone or seen an online post of anyone who has lost data on a Nintendo card.

All you need to know: tons of room to fit today's most demand games (ex: Sport's Games), good price (it's as cheap as most generic memory cards) and it's official (so it's very reliable unlike some generics).
If you're going to buy any sports games for the Cube, you NEED a big chunk of memory to save and this card will do it.
