Perhaps Kyle Katarn's game isn't as strong as we would have liked. Some of the things in this game just show the short-sightedness of the developers. Like the angle of the camera in the Imperial station on some planet's name I can't remember. The angle of the camera made Kyle's hips look very big. And when I mean big, I mean BIG! Or the stupid suit Galak Fyarr is wearing when Katarn meets up with him! What is that a criptonite suit to destory Kyle like Super-Man? The puppet like movement of the characters' lips stinks. The physical animated movement in the characters isn's fluid. The sloppy mistakes that they {the development team} made will make you laugh all the way form Japan to America. The graphics in the game definitely need to be worked on. I mean, it says right on the box that this game optimizes the GameCube's performance. I don't think they know what the GameCube is capable of! Over all I might sound really tough on the game, but do you want a real review of this game, or not? Now to get to nicer aspects of the game. The game is suprisingly fun to play, especally the multiplayer aspect of this game. Though, I'm going to have to warn you in single player jedi master mode, when you get to the end, you'll run in to this nasty over grown ex-jedi lizard named Dasann. And boy I'll tell you, I had to trick Desann into killing himself by barbequeing a pillar with his lightning so that it fell on his head! What a grueling thing it was! Oh, now to the multiplayer part of the game. If you think that fire arms are just for the bad guys, your wrong! In the game you will have a great variety of guns, not just lightsabers. By the way if you don't laugh in the multiplayer part you'll lose 50% of the game, and 50% of the fun. In all I recommend this game for the laughs and injoyment. Remember: "Be a customer. IM 15 BUT THE KIDS REVIEW IS ALOT EASYER. THIS GAME IS GREAT.THE MULTIPLAYER MODE IN THIS GAME IS INSANE AND FUN. THIS GAME IS REALLY HARD TO FIND THOUGH. I CAN ONLY RENT THIS GAME BECAUSE I CANT FIND IT ANYWHERE. BUT ANYWAY, THE WEAPONS IN THIS 1ST PERSON SHOOTER GAME ARE GREAT. THE STORY LINE IS VERY INTERESTING AS WELL. THIS GAME TAKES PLACE SEVERAL YEARS AFTER RETURN OF THE JEDI AND IT TALKS ABOUT HOW LUKE SKYWALKER IS NOW A JEDI MASTER AND SUCH. THE CHARACTER YOU PLAY AS IS NAMED KYLE AND AT THE START OF THE GAME YOU ARE STILL A PADAWAN ( BEGINNER JEDI ) AND YOU CANT DO ANYTHING WITH THE FORCE OR A LIGHTSABER YET ... BUT SOON IN THE GAME WHEN YOU LEARN HOW TO BECOME A JEDI, THE GAME GETS ALOT MORE FUN. ONCE YOU HAVE YOUR JEDI ABILITIES YOUR WEAPON IS YOUR LIGHTSABER AND IT TURNS INTO 3RD PERSON MODE. YOU CAN ALSO DO INSANE JUMPS LIKE A REAL JEDI AS WELL. WELL ENOUGH OF MY YAPPIN .. GET THE GAME ALREADY!!!

Can anyone tell me DEFINITIVELY why LucasArts, et al., are NO LONGER making games for the GameCube? Legos Star Wars and Sith are being made for GameBoy Advance/DS, but not for the 'Cube. What's up with that?
I've heard a number of things:
* Star Wars titles never sold very well at all for Nintendo, whose strength still lies in its Mario and Pokemon franchises, among several others. But not Star Wars games. And in 3rd place in market share behind both Playstation and Xbox, making a 3rd version of any Star Wars game was a guaranteed money loser. (Not so for GameBoy which still owns the handheld domain.)
* The new Star Wars games require more buttons on the controllers. The others have them, GameCube does not.
* GameCube has no game playing interactivity, though I fail to see this as a showstopper.
Your thoughts? I really want to play Star Wars games like Battlefront but unless I move to another platform I am SOL. Any guesses if Nintendo Revolution will address these shortcomings?

THIS GAME IS EXACTLY LIKE THE JAMES BOND GAMES. THE MULTIPLAYER IS WAY TOO GOOD AND THE STORY MODE IS VERY CHALLENGING. WHEN YOU SWITCH TO THE LIGHT SABER YOU GO INTO 3RD PERSON MODE. IT IS A VERY COOL GAME.
IF YOU PLAY MULTIPLAYER IT KIND OF STINKS WITHOUT THE FIRST PLAYER HAVING A LIGHT SABER. I ENTERED IN THE CODE FOR IT AND A FEW OTHERS JUST FOR MULTIPLAYER AND TO MY SURPRISE THEY WORKED IN STORY MODE. DON'T I REPEAT DON'T USE CODES IN STROY MODE. ONCE YOU GET UP TO A CERTAIN LEVEL YOU ARE CHALLENGED TO DUEL A LIZZARD AT THE END OF A LEVEL. IF YOU HAVE INVINCEABILITY ON YOU CAN'T LOSE TO GO ON TO THE NEXT LEVEL. YES, YOU HAVE TO LOSE THE BATTLE. YOU CAN'T TURN CODES OFF IN THE GAME SO WATCH OUT.
THEY WAY I DO THE CODES FOR MULTIPLAYER IS TO LET THE GAME LOAD THE LEVELS AND CHARACTERS. THEN WHEN YO GET TO THE MAIN MENU REMOVE YOUR MEMORY CARD. THEN ENTER THE CODES. IT WILL NOT STOP YOU FROM MOVING ON IN STORY MODE AND YOU WILL HAVE A GREAT MULTIPLAYER GAME GOING.
I MADE THE MISTAKE OF ENTERING THE CODE WITH THE MEMORY CARD IN AND HAD TO DELETE THE DATA AND START THE GAME OVER JUST BECAUSE I HAD TO BE DEFEATED IN A BATTLE. WATCH OUT.
THE GAME IS VERY GOOD. IT HAS SOLID GAMEPLAY AND A GREAT MULTIPLAYER. THE LIGHTSABERS COLORS CAN BE CHANGED AND THERE IS A BUNCH OF OTHER STUUF YOU CAN CHANGE.
JEDI OUTCAST IS ONE OF THE BEST GC GAMES.
FOR THE NINTENDO REVOLUTION IT WOULD BE NICE IF THEY RELEASE A SEQUEL AND HAVE IT GO ONLINE.
IF YOU LOVE STAR WARS, YOU WANT A GREAT ADVENTURE GAME WITH SOLID MULTIPLAYER GET THIS GAME.

This is the best game I have ever played and I very highly recomend it. Yet it is also rated Teen due to mild violence because your running around killing people yet it isnt that bad once you get past that.
