Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - LOWER YOUR PRICES!
Come on! We should NOT have to pay $149 for just one videogame! I know RE2 is a good game overall, but LOWER YOUR PRICES! We can all get the PSOne version for only $13 (or even lower!) and the Gamecube ones are the SAME as those anyway, except for different controls. Then there's those who don't even HAVE a PSOne but a Gamecube and this is the only way they can get this and RE3. But they shouldn't have to pay more than $30 to buy these great games! You should either lower the damn price or I guarantee you're not getting any sale!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - One of the better Resident evils out there
Not quite up to par with the REmake but RE2 is definately one of the best RE games you can get out there. Lets break down the game into some basic aspects.

Horror: 4/5. Not as much as REmake, but it had its fair share of scary moments. If your buying the game for the horror aspect you may be a little disapointed cause like I said, there arent many. However I believe the Scariest Moment in the RE series happens in this game.

Gameplay: 5/5. Great, New, Orignal puzzles that will provide 5-7 hours of fun for the RE n00b, 3-5 for an expert Resident Evil Person. Not lenthy but definately worth a look.

Price: 3/5. Very rare game to find, hence to 35.00 for a 2-3 year old game. Is it worth the 35? If you have the orignal version, NO. If you dont have the orignal, buy this.

Replay: 6/5. Yes thats a 6 for a reason. This game has 4 different storylines with the same "game" but differnet puzzles and bosses. Also after you beat the game, you can play the mini games or keep going for that A rank.

Overall: 5/5. Buy this game if your looking for a RE experience. This game fits into the RE series beatifulaly and is a key part to the RE series!

Buy this Game!

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - This blows
There was like a million resident evil games and which more are coming out. What's the concept. Go around kill zombies, Takes forever, and don't be goin over your friends house to watch him play this because you'll fall asleep after your tenth heart attack after drinking soda. We were at my friends birthday party and all he did was sit there and play this until we flipped out on him and begged him to do something more social.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - great game
i first started playing resident evil games with the remake for the gamecube. it was amazing. the next RE game i played was RE2 for the gamecube. i new it wasnt a remake so i wasnt expecting too much. but it surprised me. this is a great game. the graphics are old, but when you are playing, you will barely notice. the onlytime you might is when somithing happens close to the camera, like if you shoot at it or glass breaks. oh, and you will notice the zombies arent as scary too. but when you get past the graphics, this game is almost as good as the first one for the gamecube. the game will still make you jump at times too. this just goes to show you that you don't need great graphics to make a great game.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great game, if you don't already own it
I never owned the original version of this game, so I was happy when it was ported over to the gamecube. This game features slightly improved backgrounds to the original port, and has some awesome characters. Gameplay is like any RE game.

What makes this game (arguably) the best of the series? Each character (Leon and Claire) has two scenarios, an A and a B. If you play through one character's A scenario, you will then play through the opposite character's B scenario, which is the harder of the two scenarios. Therefore, you must beat this game a total of 4 times to truly beat it, which provides excellent replayability. Each scenario reveals more of the story until eventually you know the whole story. There are also a ton of minigames 3 extra characters, Hunk, Tofu, and a character who makes a return to the series, but I don't want to spoil it. The "boss" of the game, William Birkin, constantly mutates and starts to look amazing. If you've played RE Outbreak, you'll see this guy in the opening video totally remade. The game features a great story as well, as is the style of the series. This game proves that graphics aren't everything, although I still hope it will be graphically overhauled some day.
