How do you get past the first box with a number 10 on it in the Forest of Hope?

You must pick the first red Pikmin and make him knock down the flowers
around the area and take the red things (pellets) to the onion (the big red
thing on three legs) which will produce (make) more Pikmin. Once you have
5 Pikmin find the pellet with the big 5 on it and throw 5 red Pikmin up
there and they will automatically (do it themselves) take it to the onion.
Once you have 10, go up to the box and push the c stick forward and the
Pikmin should go up to it and start pushing or aim the cursor (purple thing)
at the box and press the a button (this will throw the Pikmin at the box
and they will line up and push it. Here's a tip: Since there is no time limit
you can let the Pikmin stay in the ground until they have flowers on their
heads which will make them faster, smarter, stronger and last longer.
